“ Other reviewers are right - don't let the outdated, slightly shabby exterior fool you. Inside is a little dated but clean, with a good experience. I did takeout because we were traveling with our dog, but I watched teppanyaki service while waiting, and it was fun and entertaining, as I would expect. One chef was especially personable and energetic. The host who handled my order was friendly and efficient and carefully included everything we would need for takeout. My shrimp teppanyaki was generous, with 12 medium-sized, seasoned shrimp. Salad was crisp and cold (miso soup was the other option), vegetables tasty, and white rice with that slightly-sticky texture. Prices were reasonable for teppanyaki. I deducted one star only for the dated appearance - would give 4.5 if I could. We would go again if traveling through. ”

“ Tepanyaki at 752 1/2 Horizon Dr, Grand Junction, CO 81506 is a nice looking restaurant but being a Saturday night, it was at capacity. I wanted to get the Teppanyaki grill experience (customers sit at a table and the chef cooks and performs) so I asked a very nice hostess if she could fit me in with the next group. She could, but I would have to wait 15-20 minutes-I agreed. She continually updated me and about 25 minutes later, I was sitting at the table. I verified this was under new ownership, who has put great effort into cleanliness, new paint, and a focus on customer service. Restrooms, overhead vents, floor, walls, bar area-everything was clean. I ordered steak, scallops, lobster, and chicken. The chef showed up and the show began. This was a highly trained skilled chef that made everyone feel great. He did lots of tricks that amazed everyone! The food was OUTSTANDING-fresh and cooked in front of you. As for service, everyone was working as a team! The hostess was serving us for drinks and anything else needed. It was the best experience I've had and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant! ”

“ Based on a door dash experience, I couldn't have been happier. Huge portions very fresh fish, also generous sauces. The crab rangoons were crispy and full, even better when dipped in the sweet and sour sauce! When I come back to grand junction, I'll definitely check them out in person! ”
